Captive포로Two American journalists jailed for 77 days by an unpredictable예측할 수 없는 and hostile적대적인North Korean government. As their trial재판 approaches, Lisa Ling speaks out for the first time about her sister’s captivity(포로신세). From the global resources of ABC News in New York City, this is Nightline June 1, 2009.
“My sister is my best friend on earth. And, you know, we both travel all over the worlds and I don't think that there has been a single day that we haven't spoken. Some days I get to go outside for a few minutes and get some fresh air, which is quite a treat대접. I breathe deeply and I think about the positive things that happened in the day, like I'm lucky I've gotten through another day… so….” You have not gone publicly on this yet. Why are you talking about it now? “We’ve been trying to allow diplomacy to take its course, but given everything that’s happening in the news, I mean we’re talking about a…what seems to be a full-blown본격적인 nuclear standoff교착상태, and…and my little sister and Euna Lee are seemingly in the midst of it. And we just felt like it was really time to try and urge our two countries to communicate.”
